It’s the 2011 FOWRies!

This is probably a good time to be articulate.

It seems crass to say “fuck these music industry awards, pay attention to us instead!” That’s not at all what this is about. The Grammies are run by a bunch of old fucks who would never talk to you, or with you, about this shit. We will, if you ask. We’re here, and more real in your lives than anyone voting on Grammies might be.

So it’s with transparency in mind that I think we should mention the award committee this year was Andrew and I. Matt got his life ate, and asking him to catch up on 32 albums in a few weeks is just fucked. He will be joining us for the Album of the Year podcast, though, playing the role of the mysterious stranger who turns the town on it’s head.

Anyways!

2011: Probably the best year of music we’ve been alive for. Which is great because we didn’t write shit about it. Whoops! Either way, we’ve been listening to a fucking lot of music, and we have a fucking lot of music to talk about in the next two weeks. We’re going to wrap up before Christmas this year because the holiday season is rough, so we want to make sure you get at least two gifts that you don’t want to return in the Deliberationcast and Best Songs Fermixtape.

So check this shit out!
